We offer month-to-month leases with no long-term contracts.

We are open 7 days a week, excluding major holidays. Our gate access and office hours vary by location. Contact the storage facility nearest to you for further information. After-hour appointments are available by request for convenience.

We require a 30-day written vacate notice to move out. Full details on the vacating policy will be provided for you at the time of move-in.

Free moving trucks and driver assistance are available at all of our facilities. We will schedule a truck run at your convenience, and our driver will drive our moving truck to your location. All you need to do is load it up, and then we will drive the truck back to the facility. We even pay for the gas! Contact a facility near you for full details and restrictions.

Payments can be processed by mail, in person, or online through our website. You may also arrange to have payment be automatically deducted from your credit card. Please ask your facility manager about this feature. All of our locations are equipped with a payment drop box. However, we do not recommend this for cash payments.

We have a wide variety of unit sizes to meet your needs. Unit sizes, specialty units, and prices vary by location. Contact a facility near you for available sizes and prices.

Our expert managers can assist you in determining the right size. Just give us a brief description of what will be stored and we'll help you determine how much space is needed.

Yes! We sell high-quality locks with a lifetime warranty at a discounted price. We also offer boxes and a variety of other helpful moving supplies.

Unlike some of our competitors, we guarantee the price of your unit will remain the same for the first year with NO increases in your rental rate.

We offer a Customer Protection Plan at most of our facilities. Our rental agreement requires that you insure your goods while they are stored with San Diego Self Storage. We provide a Customer Protection Plan option that provides $2,500 in protection in lieu of insurance for only $10 per month. The benefits of choosing the protection plan over insurance include:

• Claims do not go against your insurance, which could increase your insurance rates
• You pay it together with your rent in one easy payment
